Dr. Mari Feder
Dr. Feder joined Kind Veterinary Clinic in 1997. Her interest in veterinary medicine developed as a child while growing up on a dairy farm in Wisconsin. She attended Gustavus Adolphus College, graduating summa cum laude with a biology major and a music minor. She received her veterinary degree from the University of Minnesota where she met her husband, Jeff, who is a swine veterinarian. They have a grown son and daughter with whom they enjoy traveling and experiencing the great outdoors. They have a yellow lab named Lars, a long-haired dachshund named Charlie, a cat named Eddie, and Mini Rex rabbits. Dr. Feder also serves as attending veterinarian for Gustavus' IACUC committee, ensuring that all research involving animals utilizes appropriate anesthetic protocols and is done in a humane and ethical manner. In her free time, she enjoys playing piano and spending time with family and friends.
